| Games: |
A variety of family oriented activities will be taking place in Schouler Park throughout the day, beginning at 3 PM. The North Conway Community Center will be there offering the traditional kids games along with a few new ones to add to the fun. In addition, the Speed Trap Baseball Pitching game is scheduled along with face painting and various other activities. |
| Parade: |
Area visitors and residents are invited to participate in Conways Independence Day Parade . The parade is open to all businesses, organizations and individuals and will start from John Fuller School at 5 PM and end in Schouler Park. Registration forms are available by clicking here. The parade route will travel south along Main Street to the first turn at Schouler Park just after the traffic light into Norcross Circle. The procession will proceed around Norcross Circle exiting next to the Community Center and turning left back on to Main Street returning to Pine Street. So, be sure if you line up to watch the parade to stand along Norcross Circle on the inside edge of the Park so you wont miss anything! At the conclusion of the parade there will be a brief, formal Independence Day Ceremony in the park. |

Its a holiday, and no one should have to cook - so food will be available all day and evening starting at Noon. No matter what your appetite may be youll be able to quiet the hungries by taking advantage of the delicious menus put together by the valley's fun-loving non-profits. Games, activities and food are presented by area non-profit organizations and all proceeds will benefit: North Conway Community Center; Christian Fellowship of New England, North Conway Fire Department, Conway/Center Conway United Methodist Church, Conway Rec, Project Succeed, Lutheran Church of the Nativity, Kennett High School Athletic Boosters, and Kennett High School Music Boosters aka Heritage Festival Committee, MWV Soccer Club and Conway Historical Society.. |

Plans for the late afternoon and evening concert on the main stage underscore the "Hometown" theme of the celebration since area performers will be coming together to offer a variety of American music, folk, country and light rock. The entertainment will include fun for all ages and is an opportunity to enjoy the talents of our local entertainers in an outdoor, family setting. It will be an afternoon and evening of musical entertainment that will make us all proud to call the Conway area our hometown and to share it with the many visitors who come here during this big vacation week. Conways fireworks show will take place following the concert. |
